    Geometric, Generative, and Good AI Team in Intelligent Systems Research Lab, Intel Labs conducts inter-disciplinary research for unraveling AI for humans to amplify human potential in physical and digital worlds, by creating trustworthy AI systems; AI-ficiation of complex problems; and reconstructing, animating, and securing digital personas. Research topics root from computational geometry, computer vision, and signal processing methods in 2D and 3D, to formulate problems in the specific domain and to build AI-based novel perspectives using the priors of that domain.     G3 AI Team is looking for a motivated summer intern with experience at the intersection of machine learning and computer vision domains who can collaborate on research projects being conducted in one or more of G3 AI's focus areas. The successful candidate will be working on developing responsible AI approaches related to the integrity of digital content, including manipulated content detection, synthetic data generation, media provenance, and adversarial attacks on such systems, with one or more of modalities such as vision, audio, speech, or biological signals. Current projects span across vertical domains like manipulated media identification using biological priors, novel neural network architectures for responsible generation, or integrating media provenance to AI algorithms. In this position you will have the opportunity to conduct independent research on building multimodal learning systems and applications. Typical work would span across exploring signals and priors of different domains, data curation and database ingestion, developing, optimizing, and deploying deep learning models within different domains, and developing and applying model interpretation methods to support decision making. You will be researching fundamental concepts and methods for exploiting authenticity and fakery signals in manipulated media, building and evaluating systems and proofs-of-concept that will allow for the deployment of scalable approaches in real settings. This research will enable internal technology transfers and publication of findings in both internal and external venues. In addition to the research collaterals, building proof of concept prototypes is also expected from the candidate.

    Summary This position is located in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, in the Science and Resource Division. Responsibilities The Fish Biologist is responsible for program development and implementation dealing with the management and protection of aquatic and fishery resources and their habitat requirements. The incumbent will be hired to work on a funded project involving monitoring, surveillance, suppression and rapid response to warm water, non-native fish species in the Colorado River below Glen Canyon Dam in Glen Canyon.     **Job Description**

    AECOM is seeking an experienced **Senior Biologist** to join our Environmental Planning and Permitting Group of the Phoenix, AZ or Tucson, AZ office. This position would support numerous natural resource projects in Arizona and the Southwest United States region including management of technical work on biological surveys and compliance and permitting projects. Primary duties include managing projects involving impact assessments, mitigation planning, regulatory compliance and permitting efforts including NEPA, CWA, and ESA, and preparing environmental documents and management plans. Candidate will coordinate with resource agency staff, lead complex environmental, waters, and/or species-related permitting projects and participate in public review processes.

    **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

    + Manages a team to prepare large, complex natural resources documents such as Biological Technical Reports, Biological Assessments, Habitat Conservation Plans, Eagle Conservation Plans, and/or Wetland Delineation Reports. Operates as primary author or senior reviewer as appropriate.

    + Manages large-scale field efforts and intensive schedules.

    + Develops work breakdown structure for control and integrity of work to be performed as and defined by the contract.

    + Performs task management duties such as recurring status meetings, milestone check ins, and day-to-day interfacing.

    + Focuses on supporting career development of individuals in the practice.

    + Participate in scope and fee proposal development.

    **Qualifications**

    **Minimum Qualifications:**

    + Bachelor’s Degree in related field (biology, ecology, or project management/controls).

    + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in natural resources/project management.

    + Valid Driver's license required and must be able to safely drive to job sites.

    **Preferred Skills/Experience:**

    + Master’s Degree in related field (biology, ecology, or project management/controls) preferred plus 10 years of relevant experience.

    + Wetland Delineation experience.

    + Experience working on projects in Arizona.

    + Experience with protocol wildlife surveys, habitat assessments, and/or wildlife tracking.

    + Data management experience, including electronic data collection in field; managing large data sets.

    + Ability to work in a high-paced environment where changing client priorities result in the need to determine creative ways to get the job done.

    + Candidate must be flexible and willing to support multiple projects.

    **Additional Information**

    + Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.

    + Offered rate of compensation (Arizona locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $110,000.00.
