    **Position description**

    The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible anesthesiologist to join our multi-specialty division. Two positions are available - one immediately and one with a target start date of July 2023. Expertise in a full-spectrum adult tertiary care case mix is expected. Candidates with expertise in a particular clinical discipline, a demonstrated history/interest in clinical research and education or fellowship training are encouraged to apply. Experience with abdominal transplant anesthesiology is an advantage. Experience with liver transplant anesthesia is preferred. This position includes an academic appointment with the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine.

    We provide adult, comprehensive management of anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as well as pre- and post-operative care of these patients. The department is comprised of 40 board-certified anesthesiologists split into 3 divisions; multispecialty, liver transplant and cardiothoracic. There are 5 anesthesiology residents per year, over 100 CRNAs, 11 anesthesiology techs and 4 PCAs who are committed to providing the highest level of clinical care.
