The Health Services pathway contains areas such as Medical Office Management, Nursing, Paramedicine, and Pre-Health.  These areas all contribute to making differences in people's lives and providing critical services. 

 

Nursing

The nursing program is designed to prepare students for entry level nursing positions. The Pre-Health careers program is designed to prepare students for application to the CCC nursing program and/or to seek employment in a variety of health care professions.

EMT & Paramedic

Designed to prepare students to enter the paramedic profession by providing them with the knowledge and skills which can be used to enter the paramedic field.

Medical Office

Prepares students for the varied and expanded responsibilities involved in working within medical offices today.  Students will receive training in numerous areas including administrative, clinical and management aspects, which will give them an understanding of the workings within today’s medical businesses.

Assisted Living Facility Caregiver

The certified caregiver certificate program is designed to prepare students for entry level healthcare positions in assisted living facilities.

 

Transfer Degrees

Intended for students who plan to transfer to a baccalaureate program. These degrees provide a foundation of general education, along with courses chosen to help fulfill lower-division baccalaureate requirements. Students should work with a transfer advisor to ensure all course requirements are met before transferring.

 

 


AA degrees and certificates emphasize in humanities/social sciences, including a foreign language. AS degrees and certificates emphasize in math/science. AAS degrees and certificates are intended prepare students for employment

National median salaries are obtained from the Occupational Information Network (O*NET) under sponsorship of the U.S. Department of Labor/Employment and Training Administration (USDOL/ETA).
