Fitness and Wellness Coordinators
Who we are:
The Exercise Coach® brand was built upon the belief that staying strong and healthy shouldn’t feel like a hassle, so our founder spent years perfecting a workout process that is safe and helps people get the results that matter most with just two 20-minute workouts per week. The workouts are coach-led and powered by proprietary technology. Many athletes, physicians and researchers believe that this is the future of fitness; it's a whole new way of doing things.
In addition, every workout at The Exercise Coach® is adapted to our client’s individual ability and our client’s programs are completely data driven. The studios are professional and distraction-free, with only a handful of clients in the studio at a time. We offer a whole-body approach to fitness combined with a focus on whole food nutrition.
Check out our web site at www.exercisecoach.com.
Job Description and Details:
Our studio offers a casual, fun environment using top-of-the-line proprietary training equipment. Each coach works with just one person at a time, or a small group of 2-4 people, guiding and motivating them as well as keeping sharp eyes for form, challenges and safety. The equipment keeps track of their progress over time so that you can work with them to achieve the results they're looking for.
In addition to training our clients, all employees will share responsibility for scheduling and leading free sessions to help prospects understand our program and, ideally, become members. We never pressure anyone into joining!
Team members are responsible for consistently using our systems and processes to ensure best practice delivery of services and administrative compliance.
Company atmosphere:
Happy employees are one of the metrics of success for this gym. We will solicit and hear feedback, flex as much as possible, build our clients and ourselves up, celebrate successes and work together to make this gym one where we all enjoy spending time.
Importantly, we want someone who enjoys working with people and making a difference in the lives of others because that's what we do!
Required Skills:
These are the qualities and skills you must already have in order to qualify for this position:
• Passion for health & fitness: This is where it all begins!
• Great communication skills: You must be comfortable conversing with people in person and on the phone. You should be able to communicate clearly and conduct yourself professionally, with both our prospects and clients.
• People skills and personality: You must LOVE working with people and making them feel understood. You must be energetic and show excitement while working with our prospects and our clients. Enthusiasm about the success of clients, prospects and team members are key to success.
• CPR/AED Certificate prior to the start of training.
