**About this role:**

**In this role, you will:**

+ Participate in complex technical issues and initiatives related to large scale applications, systems, databases, or other technical products and services

+ Identify opportunity for process improvements within technical support strategies and plans

+ Review and analyze technical queries to extract data, create standard databases, or perform limited programming to fine tune systems supporting low to medium risk technical deliverables

+ Present recommendations for resolving complex technical queries

+ Exercise some independent judgment to analyze performance trends and recommend process improvements while developing understanding of technical process controls or standards

+ Work as an internal consultant regarding use of tools and processes

+ Provide information related to supported system area to functional colleagues, internal partners and stakeholders, including internal customers

**Required Qualifications:**

+ 2+ years of Systems Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

+ 1+ years of experience using and supporting enterprise job scheduling solution: Broadcom CA7

+ Experience with IBM mainframe operating systems

MLOps / ML Operations Engineer :

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for building an automated DevOps pipeline to support the deployment of machine learning models to multiple targets and developing new strategies for Fraud and AML.

- Design, implement, and operate a framework for Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) on AWS

- Build MLOps pipelines orchestration on Amazon SageMaker

- Review data science models, refactor and optimize code, containerize, deploy, version, and monitor model quality

- Design, develop, integrate, and deploy tools for Data Science and ML Research, including Model Monitoring, Model Governance, Model Deployment, Data Management, and Feature Engineering

- Test, validate, and automate tests for data science models

- Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and architects, and document processes

Qualifications :

- Experience in automating infrastructure setup and application deployment

- Experience in setting up and using AWS components, especially SageMaker, Athena, EMR (Elastic MapReduce), Glue, EC2, Lambda, ECR (Elastic Container Registry), ELB (Elastic Load Balancing), Direct Connect, and Route53

- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration

- Experience building automated CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins

- Proficiency in Python, AWS CLI, Terraform, YAML, and JSON

- Experience with containers and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, ECS (Elastic Container Service), and EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)

POSITION SUMMARY: The Operator – Heavy Equipment is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment at a recycling center, landfill or transfer station for the purpose of transferring, spreading, covering, loading and/or compacting waste or soil in an efficient and safe manner.

Position Summary:

The City of Prescott Department of Public Works is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable Equipment Operator for the Solid Waste Division. Under general supervision operates a motor vehicle and other equipment which may include an automated side-load refuse collection vehicle, an automated front-load refuse collection vehicle, a roll off refuse collection vehicle, a backhoe, an articulated loader, and a stationary boom crane to support solid waste activities at the City's transfer station.

Special Requirements:

This position may be required to work Tuesday through Saturday or any other schedule at the supervisors discretion. Rotational scheduling may be included. Must be available to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Duties:

Operates a motor vehicle and other equipment which may include an automated side-load refuse collection vehicle, an automated front-load refuse collection vehicle, a roll-off refuse collection vehicle, a backhoe, an articulated loader, and a stationary boom crane
Perform routine maintenance and repair for vehicles and equipment used during the course of business
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspection check for assigned vehicles and equipment
Perform basic maintenance on equipment including greasing key components, washing and cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, and cleaning air filter and radiator
Perform maintenance of refuse collection containers on assigned routes
Perform daily/weekly maintenance of the Transfer Station and yard in conformance with ADEQ and EPA regulations
Assist in the setup, preparation, and cleanup of special events. Perform other tasks as needed
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent. Prior heavy or motorized equipment operator experience required. Experience driving side-load and front-load refuse collection equipment preferred. The successful candidate will possess, at minimum, a valid Class B Arizona Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or greater in good standing and be issued by the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division of Arizona Department of Transportation prior to start date of employment. A clean driving record is required. Candidate of choice must pass a pre-employment drug test and background/criminal history check. Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.

Job Description

Responsible for ensuring the golf course is well maintained and reflects an image of outstanding quality. The successful candidate must have working knowledge of all entry level golf course maintenance job tasks as well as the ability to operate most of the other maintenance equipment properly. Previous experience is required.

Responsibilities

+ Demonstrate preparation for day’s work by arriving in uniform and with a positive attitude.

+ Understand daily job assignment chart and how your assignment relates to that day’s play.

+ Recognize the various equipment applications so as to make the proper selection for that job assignment

+ Demonstrate a basic knowledge of the game of golf, its rules, and expected playing conditions.

+ Demonstrate the capability to function as a member of a team to accomplish established goals.

+ Carry out all golf course maintenance tasks with a sense of pride and ownership so as to adhere to established quality guidelines for daily course conditioning.

+ Inspect all tools and equipment prior to, during and after use. Operate all equipment safely and with care and consideration of its value. Report any damage and or lack of performance to a supervisor. Also demonstrate an understanding of the work order system for equipment repair and maintenance.

+ Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations as outlined in the Omni Hotels employee handbook.

Qualifications

+ Previous experience is preferred.

+ Must be able to work outdoors in various weather extremes

+ Must be able to operate and work around hazardous equipment including but not limited to hand tools, trimming tools, mowing equipment, transportation vehicles.

+ Must be able to work weekdays and weekends as necessary

**Qualifications:**

+ Previous pool and spa maintenance experience is desired.

+ Current CPO (certified pool operator) certification desired or the ability to obtain within 30 days.

+ Good customer skills are also required.

+ Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance. Ability to move up and down stairs, ramps, and/or ladders.

Responsible for:

+ Working to precise standards to excavate line and grade for Mainline Waterline.

+ Excavates around existing utilities, to install Mainline and backfill piping.

About the Position

This position is critical to CAP’s operation as it provides support to other Departments by transporting stop logs, bulkhead gates, and pumping plant parts. As a Heavy Equipment Operator for CAP, you would operate all Central Arizona Project (CAP) heavy earth moving equipment for the operation and maintenance of the aqueduct system including civil structures such as protective dikes, O&M roads, drainages, etc. You would service and maintain adjustments on heavy equipment to ensure proper positioning and equipment. You would keep related records maintenance logs.

About the Qualifications

To be considered for thisHeavy Equipment Operator (https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/capaz/classspecs/1311804?keywords=heavy%20equipment%20operator&pagetype=classSpecifications) position, you should have a high school diploma/GED; at least five years of experience operating heavy equipment (or have completed a related 3-year apprenticeship); at least one year of experience operating heavy haul transport; and an Arizona Class “A” CDL with tanker endorsement. Also, you should be able to demonstrate your working knowledge of overweight and over-dimension laws for the transport of heavy equipment as well as working knowledge of traffic control devices, basic surveying technique, basic hand signal operations, soil conditions, and blueprint interpretation. Preference given to those who have the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively, adapt, and make strategic decisions.
