Job Description

Responsible for ensuring the golf course is well maintained and reflects an image of outstanding quality. The successful candidate must have working knowledge of all entry level golf course maintenance job tasks as well as the ability to operate most of the other maintenance equipment properly. Previous experience is required.

Responsibilities

+ Demonstrate preparation for day’s work by arriving in uniform and with a positive attitude.

+ Understand daily job assignment chart and how your assignment relates to that day’s play.

+ Recognize the various equipment applications so as to make the proper selection for that job assignment

+ Demonstrate a basic knowledge of the game of golf, its rules, and expected playing conditions.

+ Demonstrate the capability to function as a member of a team to accomplish established goals.

+ Carry out all golf course maintenance tasks with a sense of pride and ownership so as to adhere to established quality guidelines for daily course conditioning.

+ Inspect all tools and equipment prior to, during and after use. Operate all equipment safely and with care and consideration of its value. Report any damage and or lack of performance to a supervisor. Also demonstrate an understanding of the work order system for equipment repair and maintenance.

+ Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations as outlined in the Omni Hotels employee handbook.

+ Working to precise standards to excavate line and grade for Mainline Waterline.

About the Position

This position is critical to CAP’s operation as it provides support to other Departments by transporting stop logs, bulkhead gates, and pumping plant parts. As a Heavy Equipment Operator for CAP, you would operate all Central Arizona Project (CAP) heavy earth moving equipment for the operation and maintenance of the aqueduct system including civil structures such as protective dikes, O&M roads, drainages, etc. You would service and maintain adjustments on heavy equipment to ensure proper positioning and equipment. You would keep related records maintenance logs.

About the Qualifications

This is the entry level position. The Machine Operator will operate blow-mold, grinders, trimmer machines and conveyor systems. Role is responsible for troubleshooting process problems and performing minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line. TPL Heavy Equipment Operators operate huge heavy machinery to install or replace underground utility pipelines. They do serious underground excavation projects and are highly skilled craft workers who do important work on systems people rely on everyday.

*Experience working with underground water and sewer utilities required

What You'll Do

+ Operate excavation construction equipment for the installation of Water, Sewer and Storm Drain, (Track hoes, Backhoes, Loaders, ect)

+ Follow TPL Safety guidelines and procedures

+ Properly follow laws, regulations and guidelines regarding work in Blue Staked work areas

+ Load and unload equipment and materials

+ Daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections; maintain daily log

+ Perform regular maintenance/cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment

+ Maintain all industry-required Operator Qualifications

+ Perform other tasks as requested by leadership

What You'll Have

+ 12 months’ experience operating track hoes, backhoes, loaders, compaction equipment preferable

+ Must have experience in the Water, Sewer, Storm Drain or underground utility field

+ Knowledge of construction stakes and grades

+ Competent and knowledgeable pertaining to OSHA excavation requirements

Work Environment

+ Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions

+ All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English

+ Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling

+ Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment

**Position Summary:**

Conn’s is seeking reliable, motivated, and hard-working Cherry Picker Operator’s to join our Distribution team. Our cherry picker operators utilize Order Pickers, Clamps, and Reach Truck to load and unload trailers, must utilize safe and accurate usage of equipment when merchandise must be sorted and stacked.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Loads and unloads trailers and trucks using order picker, clamps and reach truck

+ Sort and stack merchandise accordingly throughout the warehouse.

+ Process customer pickups, proper picking & stocking of merchandise.

+ Must maintain assigned equipment, document equipment condition on a daily basis performs other duties as assigned

**Qualifications:**

+ Minimum one year of warehouse equipment experience (i.e., Order Picker, Clamps, Reach Truck) and proficiency in the safe operation of the assigned equipment

+ Experience using a personal computer or CRT is required

+ Ability to occasionally move/position product weighing up to 150 lbs. without assistance and up to 250 lbs. with the assistance of a dolly or other equipment

+ Must be able to frequently position self to maintain/move product throughout the facility and be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time

+ Must be able to constantly work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.

+ High school diploma or GED is required and pass a pre-employment physical assessment
