    **Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?**

    Provide force multiplication for senior SBU executives:

    + Within 30 days of employment, become familiar with VMware tools, processes, and procedures required to schedule travel, manage expenses, book meetings, and more.

    + Within 60 days, get to know the key members of the team, high priority initiatives, and become comfortable with the operating cadence of the organization.

    + Within 90 days of employment, move into proactive management of calendar and scheduling.

    + Over the remainder of the year, become an essential force multiplier for the supported executives and the product management team as a whole.

    **The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?**

    The Executive Assistant (EA) will support the VP of Product Management along with others reporting directly to the GM of the Security Business Unit (SBU). The EA will manage a wide range of advanced administrative and executive support-related tasks, will be able to work independently within established guidelines, and will make independent decisions in regard to planning, organizing, and scheduling work. The ability to interact with senior leaders (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Expert-level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability, and attention to detail are equally important.

    **Responsibilities of Administrative Assistant include, but are not limited to the following:**

    + Liaise with senior-level leaders and team members across SBG and on occasion across other R&D BUs

    + Manage demanding Outlook calendaring requests, while also keeping VPs accessible

    + Coordinate domestic and international travel and expense reporting

    + Schedule large cross-functional meetings and provide follow-ups

    + Manage multiple projects simultaneously

    + Handle and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information

    + Serve as the brand extension for leaders you support, escalating and communicating on their behalf and serving as a team liaison

    + Event planning as needed for team off-sites, business and operational reviews, and other team meetings, including arranging meeting rooms and catering requests

    **Executive Assistant Qualifications:**

    The Hiring Manager for this role is Jason Rolleston, Vice President of Product Management for VMware Carbon Black. Jason is a new leader at VMware but brings extensive experience and domain expertise.     Launch Vehicles is seeking an Administrative Assistant Level 4 to support the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) Program, specifically the NGI Leadership Team. This role will provide administrative support to senior leaders on restricted programs in a fast-paced aerospace environment, as well as overall program support coordination; facilities, onboarding, IT/IS, and training.

    + Manage and maintain leaders calendars and schedules

    + Schedule and manage multiple conference rooms

    + Schedule meetings, track action items and coordinate technical reviews

    + Ensure appropriate meeting preparations are made (coordination of call-in number, meeting materials, meals, etc.) for both internal and external meetings

    + Screen and initiate phone calls

    + Coordinate travel arrangements (both Domestic and International) and process expense reports

    + Create accurate and concise correspondence, forms, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, etc

    + Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, to include mail and email
