    **Your Impact**

    + Under general supervision, assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the physical work site, surveys, structural plans, blueprints, schematics, data, technical drawings, flow diagrams, materials sampling, computer-generated reports, and other matrices for field inspection activities.

    + Under general supervision, assist with performing basic professional inspections of proposed and existing site conditions, equipment, construction, materials, controls, resources, layout, alignment, and elevation to determine conformance with applicable rules, standards, codes, and construction or operating permits.

    + Provide basic technical assistance that accounts for the proper inspection, construction, and functioning of buildings, highways, runways, roads, storm drain systems, structures, infrastructure, according to design standard specifications.

    + Assist with verifying load calculations, change orders, interpretation of contract plans and specifications, and escalating any differences, errors, or technical problems for appropriate resolution.

    + Generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation and specifications related to inspection findings using electronic systems, written/oral feedback, photographs, drawings, diagrams, illustrations, spreadsheets, and reports.

    + Comply with client policies and procedures for inspection work under contract.

    + Comply with safety guidelines and site-specific procedures which include but are not limited to, location data, statistical documentation, studies and surveys, and construction.

    + Complete training on assigned tasks.

    + Exhibit basic knowledge of current field inspection practices.

    + Work collaboratively with other professionals, engineers, inspectors, project control, and technicians on assigned inspection phases, checks, and tasks.

    Job Purpose: To oversee, direct, and manage assigned projects in cooperation with the Project Manager or General Superintendent.

    Roles, Duties, & Responsibilities:

    + Studies and understands project plans, specifications, details, documents, and special provisions prior to starting project.

    + Has the project Blue Staked, then maintains, and references for all phases of work.

    + Locates and solves utility conflicts as soon as possible.

    + Arranges for yard locations and possible dump sites and obtains any permits and letters of permission as required.
