    Job Summary

    As a Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and organized operation of our facilities. This position involves managing the organization, cleanliness, and safety of the premises, utilizing the principles of 5S methodology. You will be responsible for moving equipment, operating forklifts, and maintaining various types of equipment to support the overall functionality of the facility.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    The Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Specialist will:

    Organization and 5S Implementation:

    + Implement and maintain the 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to enhance organization, cleanliness, and efficiency within the facilities.

    + Regularly assess and rearrange workspaces to optimize workflow and eliminate waste.

    + Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with 5S standards throughout the facility.

    Equipment Movement and Operation:

    + Safely operate forklift and other equipment to move materials and equipment within the premises.

    + Collaborate with team members to facilitate the smooth transfer of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to designated areas.

    + Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.

    Facility Maintenance:

    + Conduct regular inspections of the buildings and grounds, identifying and addressing any maintenance or safety issues.

    + Assist in repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.

    + Ensure that all areas of the facility meet safety and compliance standards.

    Inventory Management:
