Organization and 5S Implementation:

+ Regularly assess and rearrange workspaces to optimize workflow and eliminate waste.

Equipment Movement and Operation:

+ Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials and equipment within the premises.

+ Collaborate with team members to facilitate the smooth transfer of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to designated areas.

+ Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Facility Maintenance:

+ Conduct regular inspections of the buildings and grounds, identifying and addressing any maintenance or safety issues.

+ Assist in repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.

+ Ensure that all areas of the facility meet safety and compliance standards.

+ Be comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments.

Inventory Management:

+ Collaborate with relevant departments to manage and organize inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and timely replenishment of supplies.

+ Maintain records of equipment movements, ensuring accurate documentation for inventory control purposes.

Basic Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Able to obtain a Forklift certification.

Prepare cost estimates, budget requests, open and close work orders associated with maintenance projects. Track all project costs and prepare and provide various project reports. Monitor, analyze, and evaluate Protection and Communication program objectives, resources, cost accounting, and budget execution. Prepare budget estimates, program development documents, BIDDS reporting, and sole-source procurement justifications for materials, supplies, and equipment. Prepare the Division budget for submission, track and analyze budget projections in relationship to actual expenditures, and prepare special reports indicating the actual status of monies by fund, organization, and object class, for each direct and indirect project. Coordinate, direct and be responsible for records management of various maintenance programs. Participate as a maintenance representative with other agencies and/or utilities in the joint development or technical review of items such as, but not limited to, utility industry work standards, performance, and indices. Serve as a budget liaison for the division; and compile future budget projections and operational data to ensure that adequate cost data is maintained to provide a sound basis for budget execution. Accurately and effectively communicate subject matter with a variety of individuals to resolve questions and/or program issues, verbally and/or in writing. Qualifications SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Support the planning, budgeting, execution, and accounting of electric utility programs. Experience with financial and managerial analysis, statistics, and financial activities. Experience with budget and procurement processes, contacts, development of technical specifications, and sole source justifications. Experience utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) such as Maximo to track and support electric utility activities, asset lifecycles, and compliance reporting. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations.
