The primary purpose of this position is to develop and maintain long- and short-range maintenance workload plans for a segment of organic, inter-service and/or contract repair work under the assigned group and to mark groups services. Ability to accomplish staff studies relative to the acquisition of new and/or changing workloads and implement new or changed procedures. Ability to evaluate and analyze required MAJCOM reports applicable to the organization for conformance, effectiveness, and methods improvement in preparation utility and application validity prior to submission. Ability to develop and implement additional programs and informational products which enhance the ability of the Center to improve and validate future programming and work loading. Knowledge of a variety of aircraft systems and their complexity sufficient to define problems, identify the best approach, and plan projects for which there are no standard data available and for which there is little precedent experience.     + Must understand material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements and machining techniques.

    + Interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T) per part drawings.
