    + $24.00 - $38.00/ per hour

    + Monday - Thursday 3:15 pm - 1:45 am

    + Friday - Sunday 4:00 pm - 4:00 pm

    **Description:**

    • Set up and operate lathes, millers, shapers, grinders, planers, and power drills

    • Work from blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions

    • Perform highly diversified machining operations, such as turning, facing, reaming, grinding, milling, and tapering

    • Perform work on machined parts, forgings, and castings, which are of varying degrees of complexity in mature and critically

    dimensioned

    • Determine the appropriate feeds and speeds for all operations

    •Read and interpret complex blueprints and manufacture parts from a layout drawing without the use of sketches or verbal

    instructions, making all necessary mathematical calculations to complete the job according to the drawing

    • Bench work, including any necessary operations such as filing, de-burring, grinding, lapping, indexing, scraping, and fitting, in

    Mill operators at Fann Contracting work throughout the entire state of Arizona and may be required to be on their projects from 4 to 6 days per week depending upon many different factors. Overtime is not only possible, it can be frequent due to project needs: subcontractor schedules, delays due to weather, project time limits, type of work being performed, etc. Candidates must have a clean motor vehicle record with no DUI in the past 4 years. Job location and travel times often require the Mill Operator to stay on or near their project 95% of the time.

    Responsibilities include:

    + Supervise, lead and train crew members on milling operations.

    + Must have valid driver’s license and clean MVR record.

    + Ability to safety operate milling machine and other heavy equipment.

    + Travel within Arizona as required to and from jobsites.

    + Oversee and execute milling projects from start to finish.

    + Plan, Organize, and Coordinate daily activities with Project Superintendent.

    + Understand and implement best safety practices as required by company policies.

    + Performs maintenance on mill and other machinery to prevent breakdowns.

    **Hours:** 5AM—5:30PM

    **_Workdays:_** _Team A:_ Sunday - Tuesday/every other Wednesday -OR- _Team B:_ Thursday - Saturday/every other Wednesday

    **36 hours one week and 48 hours the following week**

    + Responsible for the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line.

    + Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks.

    + Checks and inspects operation results against predetermined tolerances.

    + Operate hand tools and production equipment.

    + Assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal, written, or diagram instructions.

    + Follow GMP Guidelines.

    + Compliance with quality and safety requirements.

    **Requirements:**

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + Background check

    + 0-2 years manufacturing experience

    + Basic computer skills

    + Must wear face mask, glasses, gloves, gown, and other protective gear when entering the cleanroom and for the entire shift outside of breaks

    + Must be able and willing to perform repetitive tasks for the entire shift

    + Must have an acute attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment
