Overview
After taking a trip to the Aravaipa Canyon Wilderness in 2007, Jamil fell in love with the name. It is an old Apache word that roughly means "laughing waters". When the company was born in 2009, it only made sense to name it after the beloved canyon. Since then, we have grown to over 40 events across three states and are excited to continue putting on top notch endurance events.
Like most of the outdoor industry, many of our employees are outdoor enthusiasts to some degree. We all share the same love and passion for hosting premier events for our runners and riders. We work diligently to foster an environment where all employees can express themselves creatively, share ideas, and experience the autonomy to take action.
Our ideal candidate is flexible, has availability to travel for events, and is driven and willing to help develop and improve processes within their role. We need employees who are ready to take ownership within their role and are excited about delivering the best events possible!
