**Position Overview** :

This role maintains all enterprise networks and network devices to ensure integrity, performance, availability, and recoverability of all networks and circuits in the environment. The primary responsibility of the position is to maintain the optimal performance of the network and insure it is properly maintained and supported.

**Essential Job Functions** :

+ Research, develop, and deploy the network infrastructure for organization-wide use

+ Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to maximize network functionality and user experience

+ Perform all aspects of network administration, including availability, reliability, performance, monitoring, backup, and security

+ Lead technical discussions with stakeholder/internal customers that drive decisions and implementation

+ Maintain technical documentation of the LAN/WAN design

+ Participates in compliance and security reviews as necessary including working closely with internal teams to build security, reliability, and scalability into the network architecture

+ Provides end-to-end root cause analysis and assistance for issues related to the network

+ Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end

+ Assist in developing/documenting processes and policies relating to enterprise network

+ Plan, coordinate, test and execute fail over testing in remote site environments

+ Keep monitoring tools updated to ensure we stay ahead of any issues

+ Proactively monitor network performance and take necessary actions to improve throughput and stability

+ Plan and execute upgrades and patches to the network infrastructure

+ Monitor network and bandwidth growth and provide forecasts of future usage for capacity planning

+ Provide night and weekend support during implementations and outages

+ Educate and train other members of the network administrator team

+ Conduct security access reviews on all network equipment

+ Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager

**Qualifications/ Requirements** :

+ 5+ years of hands-on experience in administering large environments as a network administrator

+ CCNA, CCNP, CCIE preferred

+ Experience with SD-WAN, MPLS, BGP, VPN, TACACS, Load Balancers, OSPF, GRE, and Radius required

+ Strong communication (written and oral) skills

+ Strong analytical ability, good judgment, strategic and multidimensional thinker

+ Detail oriented and organized

+ Strong commitment and dedication to the position and a team player

+ Commitment to mentor, train, and lead staff

The pay range for this role is $75,000 to $95,000 annually. Discretionary Bonus: You may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus which may be paid annually or more frequently as determined by SAMC senior management. In general, SAMC considers the performance of the firm, the employee’s performance, his or her department’s performance, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and internal guidelines, and external market factors in awarding bonuses. Discretionary bonuses are subject to the final approval of SAMC’s management. Employees must be actively employed by SAMC at the time the bonus is paid in order to be eligible for a bonus. Whether or not an employee receives a bonus and, if so, the amount of the bonus is at the sole discretion of SAMC management. SAMC offers a PTO program and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the Employee Handbook. SAMC reserves the right to amend or terminate its PTO program or its paid holiday policy at any time.Actual compensation offered is subject to several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, education, licensure, certification, and market demands.
