Amkor is recruiting for a Marketing Communications Manager role. This role is responsible for the development and supervision of marketing and communications strategies, tools and resources for the company. This role will maintain the company's brand integrity and serve as a voice of the brand further positioning Amkor as an industry leader.

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for managing the graphic designer, tradeshow specialist and agency partners with a focus on overall strategy and production of digital and print collateral, digital assets inventory, website content, event and sales team support, other marketing projects which are both internal and customer facing, as well as administrative support for the group. This individual will support the development of goals, strategies and implementation plans to execute comprehensive marketing campaigns to increase market share.

As a strong leader and project manager, the successful Marketing Communications Manager will collaborate with communications colleagues and Amkor personnel of all levels (technical to executive) to execute projects and campaigns to achieve desired outcomes. Candidate will manage and serve as Art Director to the company graphic designer to develop and deploy consistent website graphic content, social media promotion and industry websites. This candidate will define and oversee development of event materials, including tradeshows, technical conferences, customer conferences and sales conferences, as well as technical document design (for both new and updated documents). The candidate will oversee management and creation of company PowerPoint templates, brand and instructional documentation. Candidate will provide strong support in preparing presentations and/or speeches, including content sourcing (as generated through marketing, sales or business units). Candidate will manage development of and maintaining of all marketing communications collateral and digital libraries and serve as proof/publishing/production expert for all materials.

Additional duties & responsibilities:
• Support lead staff with public and investor relations activities and social media channels, including page layout/design, content generation and refresh, postings and analytics/traffic results.
• Manage functional activity support for events and tradeshows, technical conferences, customer conferences and sales conferences. May include travel for set-up and tear-down, and coordinate tradeshow booth duty roster.
• Specialty item research, coordination of orders and distribution
• Maintain customer Constant Contact database - executing promotional email blasts on a prepared schedule; lead management and support through salesforce.com
• New vendor onboarding, purchase requisition generation and processing, logging and tracking requisitions through project completion and billing; coordinate with AP for vendor accounting.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, literature and material distribution, travel planning and coordination. Fielding vendor communications.
• Other projects as directed by management

QUALIFICATIONS:
• A minimum of 5+ years' experience as MarCom management supporting Sales or Marketing staff in a fast-paced environment (high tech experience a plus) with a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience. Related experience with Amkor will also be considered.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications; or related coursework and experience will be considered. English or Journalism coursework preferred. Previous Amkor experience a plus and may be considered in lieu of education.
• Proficient working knowledge of PC computer tools/software: Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint); Database software (Constant Contact, Survey Monkey); Graphic Design (Adobe CS Suite) and Illustration tools; Dropbox
• Proficient and experienced in general accounting procedures (vendor approval, PO generation & processing)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong grammar and proofreading ability
• Experience handling multiple projects, changing priorities and tight deadlines
• Strong PowerPoint skills for formatting presentation materials a plus
• Ability to handle multiple multi-faceted projects and meet deadlines
• Cross-functional collaboration is a must; maintain excellent working relationship and communications with internal customers, other departments within the company and outside vendors and contractors
• Self-motivated and assertive (can work independently with little direction)
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to demonstrate sound business judgment
• Detail oriented and preciseness in work and communication
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability
