**In this role, you will:**

The Release Engineering Manager for Auto Lending will drive strategic direction for the Release and Build engineer functions in the line of business. This person will be directly responsible for creating a high performing team of release coordinators and build engineers to support Auto's software release processes, SDLC standards, and release capabilities in both the legacy and modern application portfolio.

+ Develop end-to-end release and environment build strategies connected to pipeline and automation strategies.

+ Work across engineering, operations, quality assurance, product management functions for successful strategy implementation.

+ Create a high-performing technical workforce to manage release and build engineering capabilities.

+ Build and deploy solutions to own release management as a function, including release planning, issue resolution, post-release activities, root cause analysis and thorough documentation of release standards, metrics, and communications.

+ Build and deploy solutions to design, implement, and maintain the build pipeline, code versioning, non-prod code deployments, build certifications and environment management across various platforms and initiatives.

+ Document build processes, configurations, and procedures, ensuring clear and comprehensive guidelines for reference standards.

+ Stay updated on industry trends, tools and methodologies to enhance processes.

**Required Qualifications:**

+ 4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

+ 2+ years of Leadership experience

+ 2+ years of hands-on experience with software development life cycle (SDLC), agile frameworks, version control systems, and CI/CD processes

+ 2+ years in devops engineering practices like Unit testing, TDD, Code review, Secure coding practices, Code Quality, Code Coverage

**Desired Qualifications:**

+ BS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related area of focus.

+ Banking domain knowledge.

+ 2+ years of working knowledge of DevOps methodologies, tools like Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, Gradle, SonarQube, CheckMarx, uDeploy and cloud platforms like GCP, PCF and Azure.

+ 2 +Years experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
