Under the direction of Manager, Central Services, with technical assistance from Lead Binder, set up and operate bindery equipment and perform preventative maintenance on all equipment. Perform other related duties as necessary to accommodate department workload requirements.
+ Reasonable and predictable attendance is essential.
+ Set up and operate bindery equipment including but not limited to, four station inserter, labeling machine, programmed paper cutter, folder/creaser/perf unit, shrink wrap machine, and three spindle drill.
+ Perform daily and weekly equipment maintenance functions including cleaning and lubrication machine and replacing blades and drill bits.
+ Sign out job orders in specified logbook to include time spent on project, quantity, equipment used, and amount of postage needed, if any.
+ Verify job orders received with completed jobs to ensure that work completed meets specified work standards defined procedures
High School diploma or the equivalent.
1-2 years of professional in a corporate or commercial bindery environment.
Daily exposure to loud noise, dust, fumes, and heat.
