Branch Banker team which is a part of Community and Small Business Banking Technology team is responsible for building and maintaining all the software and hardware used at Wells Fargo physical locations including branches, banking centers and ATM locations. The Engineering Manager position within Store Vision Platform(SVP) will provide ongoing software engineering management in the development of SVP leveraging JAVA and Front end technologies. SVP is a critical / core banking platform for Consumer and Small Business Banking. The responsibilities include managing multiple software engineering teams of small to medium size to implement, enhance and support products utilizing Agile methodologies, as well as business relationship management, product management, engineering management, compliance management, and engineering support of these products and management. The position also requires cross-functional leadership to be successful in a matrix environment, knowledge and hands on experience of JAVA and Front End technologies, information security standards, and the development of large enterprise scale critical applications. The technology development and support teams resides in multiple geographies so the ability to work with offshore Engineering managers and staff is also a critical factor for this role.

+ Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented employees, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing employees, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

**Required Qualifications**

+ 5+ years of technology engineering experience

+ 4+ years of leadership and people management experience in a technology environment

+ A BS/BA degree or higher

+ 5 + years of experience with Agile tools

+ 5+ years of software engineering and implementation experience

+ 4+ years of experience in one or combination of the following: leading cross functional teams, enterprise-wide projects, or directly managing people

**Desired Qualifications**

+ 8+ years of web design and development experience

+ Advanced web development skills

+ 4 + years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

+ Experience translating business needs into complex analysis, designs and recommendations

+ Knowledge and understanding of responsive web design

+ 5+ years of JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) development experience

+ Knowledge and understanding of DevOps principles

+ Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing, PaaS design principles and micro services and containers

**Job Expectations**

+ Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled

**Salary Information**

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

**AZ-Chandler:** Min: $115,500 Mid: $165,000

**TX-Irving:** Min: $115,500 Mid: $165,000

**NC-Charlotte:** Min: $115,500 Mid: $165,000
