Job Description:

As part of the team, you will join a team of 30-Tier 3 Customer Support Engineers. These engineers specialize in one or more core technologies while understanding the foundations of network products, protocols, and effective methodologies. As a member of this team, you will be part of a collaborative team to provide support during critical network issues as well as leading a caseload of lower critical issues, specifically with ACI and Nexus.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

The successful High Touch Technical Services Engineer will effectively assess the customer’s situation and help develop an action plan that will result in a resolution. This is an operations role, not a design/architecture role. This is heavy interaction with customers and troubleshooting the issues, via phone, chat, email. This role is NOT a help desk role. This person will be doing higher level troubleshooting that requires the SME to be very technical, working with multi-vendor, integrated solutions.

Engineers can sit anywhere in the US, but will need to provide support during :

2nd Shift: 5pm-1am EST

- 50% of the day (4 hrs) will be spent taking customer calls for support that fall within the network monitoring space. This will be operational and reactive. As cases

come in, this person will work them to resolution according to priority level.

- 50% of the day (4 hrs) will be spent working backlogs (cases that have accumulated and need to be resolved). This may involve working with other engineers

and/or in the virtual lab to reverse-engineer the customer's issue to derive troubleshooting steps for resolution.

The Tactical Space Systems division of Northrop Grumman seeks qualified candidates for the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) team.

**Job Responsibilities**

+ At Northrop Grumman, Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) engineers must work across diverse engineering disciplines in support of multiple space system programs. Northrop Grumman E3 engineers deliver valued oversight across all phases of a program from origin to orbit. To meet these challenges at Northrop Grumman an E3 engineer must have a strong aptitude for learning new and exciting innovations and a strong E3 skill set.

+ E3 engineers interact across all phases of a program, so strong technical communication skills and a readiness to explain complex technical issues with brevity to an audience unfamiliar with the E3 topic are necessary.

+ All programs have E3 requirements, so an E3 engineer must be capable of writing, interpreting, allocating, tailoring, and flowing down E3 requirements to all design levels.

+ E3 engineers need to present at design reviews to internal and external customers regarding E3 issues.

+ An E3 engineer must be capable of writing E3 design guidelines, developing models and performing analyses on components, subsystems and systems using EMI principles.

+ E3 engineers are responsible for designing ground systems, chassis and harness shielding, EMI filters, and selecting and laying out interface circuitry for achieving EMC.

+ E3 engineers are required to prepare and review E3 test procedures, E3 test reports, E3 technical analyses, E3 control plans, and participate in cross discipline design reviews for EMC.

+ To verify E3 requirements, E3 engineers need to design E3 test procedures and participate in E3 testing in accordance with governmental and non-governmental standards, for example MIL-STD 461, MIL-STD 464, DO-160, NASA-GEVS-7000 and other commercial requirements.

+ Experienced E3 engineers at Northrop Grumman must help maintain and build on Space System's reputation for E3 expertise and quality by training and mentoring less experience E3 engineers.

+ E3 engineers must contribute to the overall knowledge and expertise in E3 engineering capability by developing processes, procedures, documentation, and protocols for the practice of E3 engineering at Northrop Grumman.

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ The ability to perform E3 design and analysis.

From API integrations and database structures to page layouts and built-from-scratch applications, you are an expert at digging in and understanding how systems work together. In business meetings you are the technical voice who can speak to the systems impact. In discussions with developers, you are the voice of the business advocating for your customer. You really get the big picture and business goal, and are adept at translating that into the details needed for your team to make the goal a reality. You play an integral, collaborative role in feature development, from business ask through user acceptance testing and deployment.

**Our IT Business Analyst responsibilities are to:**

+ Work with Product Owners and end users to develop thorough requirements
