Raytheon Logistics has an opening for a Logistics Analyst. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for the daily management of Receiving, Warehousing, and Distribution Operations across multiple locations while ensuring the flawless execution of materials from the point of receipt to manufacturing areas.
The successful candidate will possess strong PRISM operating skills necessary to monitor and control inventory in Raytheon’s SAP based business management system (PRISM). Tasks to be performed will entail researching inventory status, communicating with Programs, Security, Government Furnished Material, production and depot planners, and factory operations. Providing strong organizational management and labor relations experience. Engage appropriate stakeholders to create material distribution, inventory management, and capacity improvement opportunities, drive solutions, along with the ability to resolve conflict within a matrix organization. The candidate must think independently, communicate effectively, and provide leadership while working closely with other disciplines.
What You Will Do
+ Seek opportunities for improvement in work environment and material flow management.
+ Prioritize support through competing needs across 7 operating factories in support of 22 separate programs.
+ Coordinate factory requirements with production planners, warehouse inventory production specialists, traffic administrators, and plant clearance team to ensure hazardous material (Plant Clearance Material/7FM Material) are shipped to the customer in a timely manner prior of the destination due date.
+ Clear understanding of hazardous materials classifications.
+ Execute cycle count and other inventory accuracy requirements to ensure 100% accountability.
+ Data reporting and analysis of daily supply chain activities
+ Develop and execute material flow strategies.
+ Assist and resolve medium to complex issues associated with purchasing and warehouse management.
+ Able to establish and maintain rapport with all levels of personnel, leadership, and customers.
+ Drive performance improvement by analyzing metrics and developing plans to achieve organizational goals.
+ Lead and participate in continuous improvement engagements benefiting goal alignment, environment, and capability objectives.
Qualifications You Must Have
+ Typically requires a Bachelor’s and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. + Collaborate with Design teams, site supply chain and customer to manage risk buys for long lead time parts needed to support design phase and early production builds.
+ Manage material availability and clear to build through the pre production phase gate process
+ Meet material cost targets for projects. Highlight cost risk and make recommendations to eliminate risk.
+ Early engagement with commodity teams to negotiate and manage price points to maximise profitability.
+ Provide leadership and be the focal point for new request for information and request for quotation. Collaborate with sourcing and commodity teams to provide quotes for component pricing and inventory turns.

+ Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
+ Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
+ Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
+ Occasional overnight travel is required.
