The second job function is to manage 200-level (organic chemistry) and above instructional labs. The major duties of this function include organizing, preparing, and scheduling the labs in coordination with the lab instructors and faculty. • Oversee Organic Chemistry and upper division laboratory courses (such as analytical, physical, and inorganic chemistries) including training teaching assistants, coordinating with faculty, and ordering reagents/supplies for the laboratory courses.
    • Collaborate with the staff and faculty on Organic Chemistry and upper division laboratory course scheduling and staffing

This position is an on-site position which requires the incumbent to complete their work primarily at an NAU site, campus, or facility with or without accommodation. Opportunities for remote work are rare.

    • Training in chemical safety
    • Ability to work effectively with other faculty to coordinate teaching efforts

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
