    Key Responsibilities

    Education, Background and Skill

As an Auto Technician, you’ll perform vehicle repairs as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. In this role, you’ll interact daily with Customers, Service Advisors, other Technicians, Parts Associates, Cashiers, Sales Associates and Managers. Daily Responsibilities: Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty. Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication. Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by the Customer. Conducting multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of Customer vehicles. Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order. Maintaining an inventory of normal Technician’s tools not normally inventoried by the Service department as “special tools.” Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate. Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty Minimum Job Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs) General Mechanical skills, manual dexterity and able to operate power and hand tools, and other types of machinery Attention to detail Organization and follow-up skills Demonstrated customer service skills Knowledge of the automotive repair life cycle Ability to operate an automobile, including manual transmission vehicles Valid in-state driver’s license, and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job.     We has an immediate need to hire a field technician due to a huge influx of demand that we has received for inspection services. They are looking for a candidate identical to our current consultant Scott Miller who has been awesome.

    Position Overview:

    Provide a variety of inspections services for various construction projects within our company. Project descriptions are all encompassing, consisting of electrical service entrances and civil construction projects with voltage ranging from 120V to 46kV. These project components will include inspections of service entrances, inspection of various civil installations, and developing basic crew work packages for service installation. Project locations vary; they are primarily located in Tucson service territory.

    Field Responsibilities:

    Position entails a person go out and perform inspections on job sites

    Very simple inspection-type work

    Residential trenches, residential panels, customer panels

    All throughout Tucson

    Adhere to service requirements - is the trench the correct depth

    • are these the correct conduits

    • Is the right panel installed

    • Is the panel at the correct height

    • Does it have an address label

    • Is it grounded

    • Does it match company service requirements

    They generally will take pictures of the site

    Office/Home Responsibilities:

    They will be looking at all of the information they took while in the field

    Open up GIS system and write up simple work orders to issue whatever material is needed based on the site

    Very low level design work

    Materials consist of overhead/underground conductors, line extensions, poles, etc.
