Executive Assistant

Amkor is recruiting for an Executive Assistant to support Amkor's EVP, Worldwide Sales. This is an excellent career opportunity to join a fast paced, global sales organization based out of San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate must possess previous experience in a support role that is very task and solutions oriented with an advanced level of professional and polished communication. This role must able to anticipate the EVP's needs while managing the day‐to‐day workflow and prioritizing various projects which includes scheduling, preparing materials for meetings, presentation development, managing communications, data analysis and participating in a wide range of special projects. This individual will work with minimal supervision and guidance, while providing executive administrative support. This position has a hybrid schedule. Candidates must reside near the local Amkor office or be willing to relocate to be considered.
• Perform data analysis with a high degree of proficiency and accuracy within Excel
• Maintain a calendar of appointments, meetings and travel; including the long-term management of projects and other priorities
• Coordinate an extensive global travel schedule while working with Amkor's internal travel department; prioritize and communicate all relevant details to participants
• Balance conflicting priorities in order to manage a daily workflow with a high degree of organization; ensure the completion of essential projects while meeting critical deadlines
• Serve as the first point of contact for a wide variety of high-level relationships between EVP and internal / external contacts
• Manage phone and email inquiries and respond appropriately; resolve routine and complex inquiries
• Provide exceptional customer service to external customers and internal members of staff and executive leadership
• Draft correspondence, reports and presentations with a high level of creativity and accuracy
• Coordinate various events such as quarterly management reviews
• Manage expense reports using Concur as well as manage the approval workflow of other Amkor applications

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree required
• A minimum of 7 years of demonstrated administrative support experience in a fast-paced, time-sensitive and multi-cultural organization is essential
• Proven organization and time management skills to complete varied responsibilities with excellent attention to detail
• Superb verbal and business writing skills is required. Must be able to communicate clear, concise messages in a confident and professional manner
• Demonstrated ability to write well thought‐out, professional correspondence free of grammatical and spelling errors
• Proven analytical skills to demonstrate a broad understanding of the organization to effectively interpret and anticipate needs
• Exhibit sound judgment, demonstrate confidence in decision making with the ability to make reasonable decisions in the absence of direction
• Big picture thinker with the ability to adapt to change; project a positive, professional and "can do" demeanor at all times
• Skilled in various aspects of planning and project management, taking an idea from concept to completion where achievement of assigned objectives is the ultimate goal
• Ability to build relationships while demonstrating a high level of discretion and confidentiality with internal and external stakeholders
• Team-oriented approach with effective interpersonal skills that promote successful business interactions with individuals of all leadership styles, personalities, and career levels
• High level of proficiency in all MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Previous experience with Concur is a plus.
