Amkor is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join our Financial Systems team in our Tempe, AZ corporate office. This position will primarily be responsible for supporting the global Finance process improvements projects, system integration and digital transformation initiatives.
• Support the execution of the finance roadmap to deliver Finance objectives.
• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing reports and processes.
• Explore opportunities for simplification, automation, and elimination of duplicate efforts and data.
• Review functional specification and design documents to ensure they meet business requirements.
• Partners with global and regional Finance teams on change control and compliance processes as needed.
• Help with development of relevant training materials, processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Support change management, stakeholder communication, user training during project/product delivery phases.
• Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
• Partner with the Finance teams and cross functional teams including IT and PMO on project planning and timely execution.
• Provide regular status updates, highlight risk and issues to PMO.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's level degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• At least 2 years in an accounting or financial analysis capacity.
• Ability to work with and influence Finance team members.
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent documentation and communications skills.
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
• An advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
• Proven success in SAP, SAP BPC or similar systems preferred.
• Semiconductor manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
• Global business environment and large public company experience is preferable.
• An MBA, CPA, CMA or similar advanced degree or certification is a plus.
• Experience using AI, ML, RPA and dashboarding tools.
