Manager, FP&A

Amkor is seeking a Manager to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team in our Tempe, AZ corporate office. This position will be primarily responsible for performing financial forecasts and financial analysis for the global organization, conducting variance analyses and preparing board presentations for messaging to the corporate executive team. This function acts as the "analytical engine" of the organization providing insightful information to support business decision making.
• Lead the monthly and quarterly financial forecast process with the factories
• Support the annual operating plan and long-range forecasts
• Mentor and manage work assignments for a local team member
• Financial analysis on the results of operations in support of the earnings releases and Management Discussion & Analysis
• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
• Coordination of variance analysis with Factory and Business Unit Controllers
• Identification of key revenue and cost drivers of gross margin, operating income, EPS and Return on Invested Capital
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly internal executive business reviews
• Prepare presentations for the Board and Executives
• Participate in and lead continuous process improvement efforts including modeling tools
• Support requests from internal and external audit and coordinate with other work groups on Finance initiatives
• Utilization of information systems and tools such as MS Office, SAP BPC, SAP BI and Excel Add-Ins for creating recurring and ad-hoc reports

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's level degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a financial analysis role
• Experience with managing one or more resources
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication and organization skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks under strict deadlines
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed. This position is anticipated to travel less than 5% domestically and internationally
• An MBA, CPA, CMA or similar advanced degree or certification is desired
• Experience in a global multicurrency manufacturing/semiconductor related business with a large public company is a plus
• Engineering education or experience is preferred
• Proven success in SAP BPC, Hyperion Essbase or similar systems is a plus
