Direct Care Worker - Habilitation, Respite, & Attendant Care

A highly rewarding position as a direct care worker providing habilitation services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

This position is best suited for someone who is patient, caring, and compassionate.

For Habilitation:
You will be helping the individual to work on goals to increase their independence. The goals will be specific to each individual you provide care for.

For Respite:
You will be providing the parents of the individual with a much-needed break as you engage the individual in age & ability appropriate activities.

For Attendant Care:
You will be attending to the individual’s specific needs, which may include dressing, bathing, feeding, etc.

The needs of the specific individual and their family will vary and you will have an opportunity to meet with them before accepting the job opening.

Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older.

All direct care workers must be certified in Article 9, CPR, and First Aid. We do provide these trainings for candidates who do not already have them.

All candidates are required to carry a valid level one fingerprint clearance card.

3 months prior experience is preferred, but not required.

Please note that the hourly pay depends on which service you provide, as outlined below:
$18.27 for Habilitation
$16.95 for Attendant Care
$16.68 for Respite
