WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As the CMM Operator, responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
- Utilizes precision measuring instruments and special inspection equipment to inspect first-piece, in-process and final manufactured parts according to drawing specifications.
- Operates Coordinating Measuring Machine (CMM) to perform inspection procedures.
- Determines acceptance or rejection of products based on requirements.
- Notifies supervision of products failing to meet customer expectations.
- Works on duties and tasks, selecting from written instructions and establish procedures.
- Completes all required documents and maintain records that pertain to quality control.
- Works at different workstations to meet production requirements.
- Maintains adequate supplies and a neat and orderly work area.
- Maintains tools and equipment in proper working order and perform preventative maintenance, as qualified.
- Maintains the security and confidentiality of customers’ products and documentation.
- Participates in providing timely feedback to other operations, as appropriate.
- Inspect most difficult assemblies and may be consulted for recommendations for process improvements by engineering or management.
- Recognized as area expert in being able to perform inspection at all levels of complexity.
- Troubleshoot all levels of problems and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings, specifications, and customer documents.
- Performs detailed first article inspections following the installation of full assembly.

ABOUT YOU:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of work experience in manufacturing and production.
- Previous work experience preforming first piece inspection, GD&T, operating a CMM and mechanical inspection/surface plate layout.
- Able to interpret Aerospace blueprints.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Requires the ability to follow written instructions and read blueprint specifications in English.
- Able to operate and adjust semi-automatic or automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequence of operations where programs are provided, and setups are often made and maintained by others.
- Must be able to check parts for conformance to specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.

SCHEDULE:
- Swing Shift: Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11:30pm
