**Job Description**

Olsson is on the lookout for a mid-level professional who's passionate about zero-emissions mobility and ready to tackle new challenges. As a Zero Emissions Mobility (ZEM) Planner at Olsson, you'll focus on creating and executing strategies to facilitate transportation options with minimal environmental impact. Your day-to-day will involve analyzing transportation data to find areas for improvement and opportunities for eco-friendly alternatives like electric vehicles, bike lanes, and better public transit. You'll work closely with different groups to develop policies, programs, implement plans, and projects supporting our client's zero-emissions goals. This could mean researching new technologies, evaluating different transportation options, evaluating performance data and supporting sustainable initiatives within communities. You'll also get involved in outreach and education efforts to spread the word about the benefits of zero-emissions transportation. Your job will include things like analyzing data, attending meetings, using mapping tools, and writing reports. Strong communication skills are a must, as you'll be interacting with clients and presenting to groups.

_Occasional travel is anticipated in this position, estimated at approximately 25% or less._

**You bring to the team:**

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Ability to contribute and work well on a team.

+ Bachelor's degree in planning, policy, engineering, or a related field.

+ 2 - 5 years of relevant planning experience, including exposure to transportation, transit, or zero-emissions mobility projects.

+ Interest in obtaining Certified Planner (AICP) certification.

+ Familiarity with transportation systems, urban planning principles, and environmental considerations.

+ Basic proficiency in grant writing processes and procedures.

+ Strong analytical, technical writing, and problem-solving abilities.

+ Proficiency in various computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and data analysis software.

+ Basic understanding of GIS for spatial analysis and mapping.

+ Valid driver's license with a good driving history.
