Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Davis Monthan AFB, Heritage Inn Hotel. This position is a Flexible position, meaning it does not guarantee any hours, but comes with the eligibility of working up to 40. Responsibilities 1. Receives soiled laundry from authorized Force Support Squadron (FSS) activities. Separates laundry into classes, counts and records numbers of each different article. 2. Loads washers, selects cycle and wash time. Removes laundry at the end of cycle and places in dryers. 3. Selects dryer cycle and time best suited for product. Removes items from dryer and folds or prepares for pressing. 4. Items selected for pressing are processed on the mechanical presser taking care not to scorch or burn. 5 Assists in maintaining records of all laundry received, processed and returned. Makes calls as directed to contact managers for delivery or pick-up of laundry products. 6. Assists with orders for laundry products. 7. Ensures cleanliness of washers, dryer, sinks, laundry products, etc: and keeps lint traps cleaned as often as required. Performs other housekeeping chores as directed by supervisor. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
