Coconino County Public Works is seeking an Equipment Operator III. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years experience in road maintenance, including experience with snow removal operations. They will also possess the knowledge of how to operate all road maintenance equipment. Minimum Qualifications: Four years of progressively responsible equipment operation experience in a construction or maintenance setting, OR any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Additional Requirements: Possess Arizona unrestricted Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement and maintain throughout employment; Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) training and recertification, Flagging Certification; First Aid/CPR Certification. Preferred Qualifications: include good leadership skills, good communication with supervisors and crew members, ability to operate a variety of road maintenance equipment including the motor grader and transport truck.
