**PAY RANGE**

The Target Pay Range for this position is $91,700-$112,100 annually. The full Pay Range is $71,200-$132,600 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. **IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE** **:**

As a Compensation Analyst at BECU you’ll have the opportunity to provide essential support and services to HR departments and BECU business units, thereby contributing to the organization's total rewards strategy. Your expertise will be instrumental in administering and delivering compensation programs, ensuring they are in line with the organization's objectives.

*****This role can be done remotely from WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, SC, GA.**

**WHAT YOU’LL DO** **:**

+ **Compensation Programs:** Assist in the design and administration of annual incentive plans and other compensation programs. Handle the compensation programs for assigned client groups through partnership with the HR Business Partner, ensuring their effectiveness and relevance.

+ **Data Integrity and Compliance:** Complete audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with laws and regulations, resolving any discrepancies that may arise.

+ **Process Improvement and Innovation:** Recommend process improvements and innovative practices in compensation procedures.

+ **HR System Upgrades:** Actively participate in HR system upgrades and new implementations as a valuable team member.

+ **Annual Compensation Cycle:** Analyze and ensure competitive salaries within guidelines, update the salary structure, and oversee the merit review process.

+ **Pay Consistency:** Evaluate and maintain job descriptions to ensure pay consistency across job families within BECU, and in accordance with market standards.

+ **Incentive Payments:** Calculate ad hoc incentive payments as necessary.

+ **Compensation Surveys:** Responsible for completing assigned compensation surveys to contribute to benchmarking and market analysis.

+ **Applicable Laws and Regulations:** Maintain knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to compensation to ensure compliance.

+ **Partner with Stakeholders:** Collaborate with leadership, HR Business Partners, and employees to address issues, questions, and concerns, taking appropriate action to resolve them.

+ **Special Projects:** Participate in special projects, plan design, and program implementations to contribute to the overall success of the organization.

**QUALIFICATIONS** **:**

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent work experience.

+ Minimum of two years of experience in Compensation.

+ Advanced Excel skills.

**Desired Qualifications**

+ Demonstrated initiative and responsibility with confidential/sensitive information.

+ Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

+ Experience with Workday, MarketPay, and/or JDXpert.

+ CCP certification or continuing education.

+ Experience participating in project teams.
