Overview

The Pharmacy Trainer works to implement the training program for the commercially available pharmacy dispensing systems, i.e. LTC 400, Frameworks,etc.

Responsibilities

• Develops training curriculum and maintains training materials• Delivers the training necessary to operationalize pharmacies on LTC 400 or Frameworks (whatever dispensing system is used), satisfying company goals and objectives related to training delivery and project timelines• Delivers classroom instruction, over the shoulder training, and provides operations support• Adapts content presented to trainees based on their learning style, ability, personality, or performance• Makes recommendations and implements changes to improve initiatives and/or specific training programs• Solicits feedback, validates customer acceptance• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree• 5+ years combined experience working in a health care, retail, or Institutional pharmacy setting, with Long Term Care Pharmacy experience preferred• Previous experience delivering training and producing documentation, as Pharmacy Technician – Operations or Information Technology Support experience preferred• 2+ years’ experience on LTC 400 or Frameworks is beneficial, not required• Phenomenal communication, presentation, and public speaking skills required• Organizational and time management skills required• Microsoft Office Suite – Intermediate level required• Devoted to a task or purpose with integrity• Curious, detail-oriented and a quick learner• Critical thinking and decision making• Demonstrates enthusiasm, eagerness, and interest• Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead• Works well with all levels of management and as a member of a team• Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization• Strong customer focus, with ability to deeply understand customers and their needs• Adaptable and solution-focused• Willingness to travel nationwide up to 50%

Salary Range

USD $19.00 - $20.00 / Hour
