Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for working on industrial equipment in the field, specifically ultrapure water (UPW) systems. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength, the ability to lift heavy objects, and the willingness to wear protective personal equipment. Job Specifications:

- Job Type: Full-time, Onsite

- Location: 4500 S Dobson Rd Chandler AZ 85248 - Ocotillo campus

- Pay Rate: $21-22/hr depending on experience

- Shift: Night shift (12-hour shift) 5:45 pm to 6:15 am Wednesday - Friday e/o Saturday (training on day shift for approximately 3 months)

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Field Technician, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Role modeling safety practices and adhering to safety protocols

- Starting up UPW equipment under the guidance of the system engineer

- Collecting UPW samples and conducting routine analysis using test equipment

- Operating UPW equipment and systems through computer interfaces

- Performing maintenance activities on UPW equipment and test equipment

- Loading/unloading UPW resin, RO membranes, filters, and other materials

- Safely handling and transferring liquid chemicals from tank trucks to bulk storage tanks

- Utilizing forklifts, mobile elevated platforms, and pallet jacks to move equipment and materials

- Developing pre-task plans and ensuring their implementation

- Collaborating as a team member with exceptional customer service skills

Qualifications & Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Minimum 2-3 years of specific UPW operations experience

- Good verbal and written communication skills

- Proficiency in MS Word/Excel and general computer use

- Hazardous material/chemical handling training, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

- Control of Hazardous Energies (CoHE) training

- CPR/first aid training

- Fall protection and ladder safety training

- Scissor lift/Mobile Elevated Work Platform training

- Forklift and pallet jack training

- High school diploma or GED required; AS degree preferred (military experience can be considered as a substitute or additional experience)
