**PAY RANGE**

The Target Pay Range for this position is $100,900-$123,200 annually. The full Pay Range is $78,400-$145,800 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. **IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:**

As a Business Systems Analyst at BECU, you will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities to enhance services and products for BECU members and employees through technology and process improvements. You will act as a bridge between business units and IT departments, translating business needs and objectives into valuable technology solutions. Your contributions will be instrumental in making a significant, positive change in BECU’s journey, where your input will be highly valued, and your growth continually fostered.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO:**

+ **Develop Business Case and Technology Solutions:** You will lead the identification of business value and outcomes, propose viable technology solutions, and focus on reducing technical debt while ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering business features and functional demands. This isn’t just about ticking off tasks on a list. It's about making a significant, positive change in BECU’s journey, where your contributions are valued, and your growth is continually fostered.

+ **Collaborate with Stakeholders to Define Requirements:** Working closely with the Product Owner, business partners, decision makers, and end users, you will define and document roadmap and sprint-level goals, requirements, user stories, and outcomes. You will take the lead in eliciting, documenting, and communicating business and user requirements and functional specifications through coordinated workshops, creating use cases, and process models.

+ **Manage Sprint Execution and Refinement:** You will collaborate with the Product Owner to manage Sprint Backlog, support story creation and refinement, and facilitate the team throughout the Sprint Execution lifecycle.

+ **Analyze and Refine Program/Product Requirements:** You will analyze and refine requirements and acceptance criteria for programs/products of all sizes, ensuring that they align with business objectives and technical needs.

+ **Interface Designs and System Models Management:** Creating and managing interface designs, prototypes, data flow diagrams, and system models will be part of your responsibilities in ensuring seamless technology solutions.

+ **Vendor Relationship Management and Coordination:** You will assist in managing applicable vendor relationships and coordinate the delivery of vendor deliverables, ensuring smooth collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.

+ **Support Testing and System Maintenance:** You will oversee the test plan and refinement of technical solutions, supporting testing by facilitating the resolution of identified bugs. Additionally, you will manage the installation of application patches, configurations needed for software enablement, and oversee system maintenance.

+ **Documentation and Communication:** Creating and managing technical user manuals, system configuration documentation, and other technical reports for products/programs will be an essential part of your role. Moreover, you will manage communication between end users, vendors, and IT departments to resolve production and development environment problems.

+ **Cyber Security and Data Privacy Compliance:** You will ensure that security practices and Cyber Security policies are effectively managed within the program portfolio, consulting, designing, and implementing solution efficiencies to meet data privacy, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

+ **Technical Walk-throughs and Mentoring:** Conducting technical walk-throughs and demos with development and business stakeholders, as well as mentoring less experienced team members, will be part of your role in fostering a collaborative environment.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in a technical/related discipline required, or equivalent work or education related experience

+ Minimum five years of experience working with business software applications

+ Demonstrated understanding of theory and usage of Cloud Computing

+ Strong with multiple change approaches from Agile, Lean, TDD, Waterfall, etc.

+ Demonstrated capability of supporting and delivering the full system development life cycle and its various phases

+ Demonstrated skills with SQL and/or various relational database concepts and languages

+ Proven ability to manage solutions delivered in multiple programming languages and technical environments

+ Demonstrated understanding of software engineering vocabulary and data architecture

+ Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to plan, organize, schedule, and implement projects

+ Proficient verbal and written communication skills

**Desired Qualifications:**

+ Advanced degree in a related discipline

+ Experience working with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or other Agile development team tools

+ Proficient with tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, etc.

+ Knowledge of industry project management methodologies
