**About this role:**

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Sourcing Consultant (Executive Director) to help mature our Strategic Sourcing function by establishing a category governance/operating model and helping to implement a refined category taxonomy for the enterprise. This individual contributor will be responsible for leading and building best in class **strategic** category support.

**In this role, you will:**

+ Create a center led category governance / operating model strategy that enables alignment to LOB business plans and strategy.

+ Develop and promote category specific policies, procedures, and training material.

+ Lead the development and execution of reporting and tracking mechanisms.

+ Report on category strategies and performance across Strategic Sourcing teams.

+ Partner with Technology, Data, and Third-Party Program teams to develop a roadmap that enables the automatic feed of key data attributes into category strategy templates to drive key insights.

+ Establish defined ownership/accountability, analytics "data to insights" process, and governance structure for sustainable management.

+ Driving cross-functional category teams in change management and category adoption.

+ Lead implementation of refined category spend taxonomy to ensure data / execution consistency across LOB's that is intuitive and provides desired information for decision making.

+ Train, lead, and mentor strategic sourcing consultants on best-in-class category management.

**Required Qualifications:**

+ 7+ years of Sourcing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

**Desired Qualifications:**

+ Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives

+ Excellent business and financial acumen to apply supply chain and operations for cost optimization.

+ Experience developing and executing business vision, strategies, and goals.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

+ Strategic planning and development experience

+ Experience developing and executing sourcing strategies

+ Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project) skills

+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

+ Ability to create a strong collaborative work environment to successfully develop partnerships.

+ Possesses executive presence, high energy, ability to manage complexity and a broad scope of daily work activities and stakeholders.

+ Proven experience collaborating with Supply Chain leaders in the financial services industry

+ High degree of initiative and strong ability to meet key responsibilities with limited direction and oversight

+ Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

+ Understanding of basic contracts and supply chain management activities

+ Financial services industry experience

+ BS/BA degree or higher

**Job Expectations:**

**Base Compensation Range:**

$111,100 - $197,500 USD Annual
