The Application Insights Engineering team is looking for a Information Security Manager that has a solid understanding of Golang, Javascript, NodeJS, React, and emerging JavaScript frameworks, to provide technical leadership and delivery on an agile cross-functional team that values collaboration, automation, and innovation. The ideal candidate will make key decisions on the technical design of features aimed to solve problems, debug issues, document and develop software and systems that meet the needs of internal use. Seeking a highly skilled technical professional who can build highly scalable, performant and fault-tolerant applications and grow skillsets of other colleagues as a software engineer at Amex.

+ Taking your place as a core member of an agile team driving the latest development practices

+ Writing code and unit tests, working with API specs and automation

+ Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies

+ Leading a team of engineers that delivers knowledge management solutions to businesses worldwide

Up to 6 years of software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience such as:

+ Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development methods

+ Experience with design and coding across one or more platforms and languages as appropriate

+ Hands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testing

+ 4 years of experience in building backend applications using NodeJS

+ Experience with JavaScript Frameworks such as REACT/Redux, HTML5, CSS3

+ Understanding of API structures and usage GraphQL, Rest

+ Understanding and experience programming in Go

+ Strong experience in Data Structure and Algorithm.

+ Understanding on classical and/or cloud-native architectural patterns.

+ Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

+ A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.

+ Aptitude for learning and applying programming concepts

+ Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners

+ Knowledge/Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, or ETL/streaming products and Helm Charts is a plus

+ Experience in messaging middleware, preferably RabbitMQ is a plus.

+ Understanding of web services technologies, distributed caches, NOSQL and data structure fundamentals a, plus

+ Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred

**Qualifications**

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually bonus benefits

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
