Cloud Security Architect

Contract

$75/hr - $90/hr

A financial institution is looking to bring on a remote, Cloud Security Architect to help build out their security infrastructure and strengthen their security posture. This individual will act as the leader in cloud security and focus on design and architecture of secure, reliable, scalable cloud-based solutions. This will involved collaborating with other teams across the org to architect cloud based controls,.design proof of concepts, and implement reusable security services.

Contract Duration: 6 Months contract-to-hire

**Required Skills & Experience**

· Experience designing, implementing or supporting security technologies and solutions

· Experience building a security program in a cloud environment

· Certification like: CISSP, CCSP, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect or Security Engineer

· Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, encryption, authentication, authorization, and audit capabilities

· Strong understanding of threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits in cloud environments

· Experience implementing controls to mitigate threats

**Desired Skills & Experience**

· A bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security

· Experience designing and implementing security solutions like IAM, network security, data protection, DevSecOps and compliance

· Experience with FISMA Moderate/High controls
