Human Resources Assistant Classification: Seasonal, full-time, non-exempt Reports To: ER Manager Summary This dynamic, task master role supports the day-to-day operations of our hardworking and growing HR Payrollteams through completion of various administrative tasks related to onboarding, compliance and payroll. Essential Functions Creates and sends payroll onboarding invitations. Completes payroll related data entry/updates records as necessary. Tracks onboarding progress and follows-up to ensure completion as needed. Organizes and maintains accurate electronic personnel files; audits and gathers records to ensure field files are limited to certain data. Performs file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained in the appropriate location, including the field records. Performs payroll audits to ensure that all employee data is accurate and in compliance with the federal and state guidelines. All other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Prior HR and/or Payrollexperience a plus Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally with internal and external customers. Experience with employee onboarding desirable. Familiarity with employment-related laws and regulations. Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently. Must be organized, accurate, thorough and be able to monitor work for quality. Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction and open to feedback. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; HRIS systems experience.
