As a Commercial Fire Panel Lead Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex fire panel systems and solutions for commercial buildings. You will lead cross-functional teams on cutting-edge projects that transform the way businesses protect their people and assets. Your expertise in systems engineering, project management, and technical leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of fire and life safety solutions.

You will report directly to our Senior Director of Architecture and you'll work out of our Northford, CT location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the safety and security of commercial buildings by designing and implementing state-of-the-art fire panel systems. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the systems meet performance, reliability, and quality standards. Your technical leadership will be crucial in identifying and resolving system issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring the systems remain operational.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design and development of commercial fire panel systems

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and reliability

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for successful project completion

• Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team

• Implement and enforce quality control measures for system safety and compliance

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering or computer science

• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering and project leadership

• Comprehensive knowledge in fire panel systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under minimal supervision
