As a Technical Support Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to our customers in the Building Automation (BA) business unit. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the seamless operation of our products and solutions. Your expertise and problem-solving skills will be instrumental in maintaining customer satisfaction and driving the success of our BA business.

You will report directly to our Support Manager, and you'll work out of our Independence, OH location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our customers' building systems, ensuring their energy efficiency, and productivity. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Provide technical support to customers, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues using phone and email queues as points of contact

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer inquiries and escalations.

+ Document and track customer interactions and solutions in service management ticketing systems including work order documentation that maintain direct communication with customers about the progress of requests.

+ Verification of proper functioning of hardware and software while communicating with field support personnel and customers in a B-to-B interaction using the highest level of service skills

+ Identify trends and patterns in customer issues to improve product performance, customer satisfaction, and collaborate with multiple levels of management to reach resolutions to stakeholder’s expectations.

+ Continuously update your technical knowledge and skills to stay up to date with the latest product developments.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 2+ years of experience in technical support or a related role with BAS systems.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with Building Automation.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

WE VALUE

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
