As a Military Avionics Senior Engineer Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Aerospace business unit in Phoenix, Arizona. You will provide advanced technical support and expertise in avionics systems for military applications. Your knowledge and skills in avionics will contribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our business. You'll work out of our Phoenix location on a full time in the office work schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on our Aerospace business unit by providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex avionics hardware, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of our products. In this role you will perform advanced troubleshooting on customer returned hardware. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to accomplish rework and repair of units. Your attention to detail and ability to solve complex problems will be instrumental in meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide advanced technical support and expertise in avionics systems for military applications

· Troubleshoot complex avionics issues and provide solutions

· Operate automatic and manual test equipment to evaluate the performance of customer returned hardware

· Identify and perform rework/repair of products

· Work with SAP and other database tools to report status of repairs, order parts and document failures

· Coordinate with other technicians and assemblers to ensure work is completed on time and within customer required turn arounds

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and efficiency of engineering processes

· Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices

· Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Associates Degree in Electronics

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in avionics systems for military applications

• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in avionics systems

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

WE VALUE

• Experience with SAP and other ERP systems

• Honeywell Solder and IPC Certifications

• Experience with Repair and Overhaul processes

• Communication skills and willingness to work as a team
