**Northridge Hospital Medical Center** seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic **Nutrition Assistant 1** to join our Dietary team. This role is essential in providing high-quality nutritional care to our patients, and employees.

**Responsibilities**

+ Assist with meal preparation, including portioning, plating, and serving food.

+ Follow established recipes and dietary guidelines.

+ Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to all safety and hygiene standards.

+ Assist with food inventory and ordering.

+ Provide excellent customer service to visitors and patients, ensuring their dietary needs are met.

+ Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian and other dietary staff to ensure smooth operations.

+ Assist with special dietary needs, including allergies, intolerances, and therapeutic diets.

+ Maintain accurate records and documentation.

+ Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on best practices.

**Qualifications**

+ High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Fire Safety card required within 90 days of hire.

**This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.**

**Pay Range**

$23.00 - $23.11 /hour
