Job Summary:
HVAC installers will be responsible for installing and inspecting HVAC systems working from a blueprint. Installers work with blueprints when they install AC systems homes, and other structures. They install various sizes of boxes and ducting for the supply system. Install and solder copper lines for refrigerant as well as sealing and securing ducting inside attics. Equipment installation and vast knowledge in all tools required to perform a full HVAC system installation without supervision or additional direction.
HVAC Installer Functions Include but are not limited to:
• Read technical diagrams, blueprints and various paperwork for accurate installations.
• Install ducting, equipment and other components according to print.
• Install, repair or replace HVAC equipment & system components.
• Follow State building code and local building regulations.
• Good knowledge of various test equipment and tool operation.
• Measure, cut lumber, using measuring instruments, hand and powertools.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.
• Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation.
• Break up concrete, using chipping hammer, to facilitate installation.
• Install all required components for the HVAC system.
• Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to work site by hand.
• Construct platforms, ducting boxes, using power drills, saws and hand tools.
• Raise, lower, or position equipment, tools, and materials
Knowledge, Skill and Experience: Minimum Requirements:
• Completion of HVAC apprenticeship.
• Experience working as an HVAC installer.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• HVAC system blueprints and installation knowledge.

Minimum Experience Required:
1yr as an RNC HVAC installer.
