Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join our team in the Queen Creek, AZ area. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, performing crucial tasks in phlebotomy and specimen processing. The role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring accurate laboratory results.

Responsibilities

+ Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures on pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients.

+ Collect and process blood specimens for laboratory analysis.

+ Ensure proper labeling and handling of all specimens.

+ Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.

+ Maintain accurate records of all blood draws and specimen collections.

+ Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques.

+ Experience in specimen processing.

+ Ability to perform blood draws and handle specimen collection.

+ Strong customer service skills.

+ Previous phlebotomy experience outside of school and externship.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience working with pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients.

Work Environment

The position involves working in an IOP (In-Office Phlebotomy) setting from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The work environment is fast-paced and requires adherence to strict safety and quality standards. Dress code is professional, and the role involves direct interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
