Summary: The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing and supporting the company’s marketing strategies, with a particular focus on social media management, content creation, and enhancing the company’s online presence. This role is ideal for a creative and strategic thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills, who is adept at managing social media platforms, including LinkedIn. The successful candidate will also support marketing initiatives that drive brand visibility and contribute to the overall marketing goals of the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain outstanding client relationships with General Contractor other key Clients.
Build and maintain long-term relationships to secure future business opportunities.
Develop and execute pursuit strategies for key projects, ensuring alignment between client needs and company capabilities.

Providing Technical Assistance:

Conduct architectural presentations and facility tours to educate client base.
A demonstrated expertise in glazing and metal facades and providing clients with technically sound recommendations.
Act as a trusted advisor to architects and owners, providing value-engineering insights and design recommendations to optimize project outcomes.

Sales and Marketing:

Proactive client calls, jobsite visits and developing targeted marketing campaigns.
Manage the Sales Lead Pipeline and work with the team to implement sales objectives and strategies to move leads into opportunities.
Utilize and enhance the Sales Playbook and CRM system (Salesforce) to record activities and generate opportunities.

Competitive Analysis and Innovation:

Identify and adapt to the competitive landscape to develop a strategic advantage for the company.
Develop data-driven strategies to enter emerging markets and establish a competitive edge.
Continuously monitor markets for potential entry into new markets and identify "mega" project opportunities both inside and outside of Arizona.

Networking and Events:

Develop client contacts through networking and participation in relevant industry associations.
Organize and host trade shows, shop tours, vendor lunch and learns, and unique networking events.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support:

Partner with other areas of the organization to drive strong client relationships and support cross-functional performance.
Collaborate with pre-construction, estimating, and operations teams to ensure smooth project transitions from sales to execution.
Collaborate on industry events and other company initiatives to enhance the company's reputation and network.

Leadership and Culture Development:

Demonstrate and promote company values, fostering a culture attractive to top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance the company’s online presence and engagement, particularly on LinkedIn.
Create, schedule, and manage content across social media platforms, ensuring consistency with the brand voice.
Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers to foster community and brand loyalty.
Track and analyze social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

Networking and Events:

Develop client contacts through networking and participation in relevant industry associations.
Support & help organize and host trade shows, industry events, open houses, shop tours, vendor lunch and learns, and unique networking events.

Client Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain outstanding client relationships with owners, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
Build and maintain long-term relationships to secure future business opportunities.
Conduct regular check-ins with the current client base through job site visits and office visits

Sales and Marketing:

Participate in the development of company presentation, data sheets, etc.
Work with Marketing Manager to develop marketing materials and campaigns for lead generation & existing client relationships.
Update existing dated brochures & manage expo/booth events.
Create & post 3-4 social media posts weekly to enhance online presence and engagement.

Content Creation:

Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to create and edit content for digital marketing campaigns, including blog posts, newsletters, and social media updates.
Develop marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations to support lead generation and client engagement.
Design simple graphics and visuals for social media posts and other marketing collateral using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

LinkedIn Management:

Manage the company’s LinkedIn profile, ensuring regular updates, industry news sharing, and active engagement with followers and connections.
Build and maintain professional relationships with industry contacts through LinkedIn.
Participate in LinkedIn groups and forums relevant to the industry to increase visibility and establish thought leadership.

Marketing Campaigns and Lead Generation:

Support the Marketing Manager in developing and implementing marketing campaigns aimed at generating qualified leads and nurturing existing client relationships.
Assist in the creation and distribution of email marketing campaigns, ensuring timely and targeted communication with clients and prospects.
Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns, providing reports and suggesting improvements as necessary.

Event Support:

Assist in planning and promoting company events, such as trade shows, webinars, and client appreciation activities.
Coordinate event logistics, including marketing materials, registrations, and follow-up communications.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to inform marketing strategies.
Provide insights on emerging market trends and opportunities for the company to expand its reach and market share.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support:

Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment between marketing strategies and business goals.
Collaborate on initiatives such as philanthropy events and internal company projects that enhance the company’s reputation and brand.

Skills & Qualifications:

5 years of proven experience in marketing, with a focus on social media management and content creation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), social media management tools, and email marketing software.
• Technical aptitude with experience using tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and design software such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to travel as needed for events and client meetings.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
