Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Case Manager to support our Enrolled Agent in managing client tax resolution cases. This role involves coordinating with clients, organizing documentation, communicating with the IRS, and ensuring all case steps progress efficiently. The Case Manager acts as a liaison between clients, the Enrolled Agent, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of client tax resolution cases from intake to resolution
• Communicate with clients to collect documentation, obtain signatures, and update them on case status
• Organize and maintain accurate case files and documentation in accordance with compliance standards
• Draft and submit forms, Power of Attorney (Form 2848), and supporting documents to the IRS
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of all required filings
• Assist the Enrolled Agent in preparing Offer in Compromise, Installment Agreement, Currently Not Collectible, and penalty abatement requests
• Respond to IRS notices, transcripts, and correspondence in a timely and professional manner
• Provide administrative support and case updates in CRM or tax resolution software

Qualifications
• Pursuing EA license
• Understanding of the tax resolution process and familiarity with IRS procedures is highly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using client management or tax software (e.g., PitBullTax, IRS e-Services)
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple cases and priorities
• Discretion in handling sensitive client financial and personal information
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
• Self motivated and hungry for growth and opportunity

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with an Enrolled Agent, CPA, or tax attorney
• 2+ years of experience in tax resolution, accounting, legal, or case management role
• Bilingual (especially Spanish or another commonly spoken language) is a plus
• Knowledge of IRS collection and examination processes, tax forms, and transcripts
