**Your role and responsibilities**

'- Strong understanding of Linux Admin Experience;

- Experience with troubleshooting (performance, reliability) Java-based applications or APIs hosted on Linux-based platforms;

- 2+ years of experience with troubleshooting the Kubernetes platform (example, troubleshooting slowness, autoscaling, network problems etc);

- Experience with cloud platforms like OpenShift (Preferred) / AWS;

- Experience with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, Splunk;

- Experience with application development methodology and tools;

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop and maintain technical knowledge of business-facing applications;

- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;

- Experience with collaboration and teamwork to develop and deliver solutions;

- Strong understanding of business goals and objectives and ability to develop solutions that meet those needs.

**Required technical and professional expertise**

* We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer-DevOps to join our team. As an Application Developer-DevOps, you will advise clients on application development methodology and tools, and perform as an expert on application development for existing or new applications. You will work with teams to develop a technical roadmap for business solutions aligned to business goals, and consult with teams on solutions that run on multiple IBM platforms and applications.

**Preferred technical and professional experience**

• Kubernetes Certification is preferred.
