Our Channel Sales Representatives drive the sale of products, systems, and services through resellers/channels to achieve sales and profit goals. They identify and approaches key or strategic partners and set short and long-term channel strategies. This role will foster reseller satisfaction and performance. They will develop customer relationships through partnering with distributors or resellers. This role will provide education of Honeywell products through technical presentations and will manage, maintain, and provide reports and opportunity status through regular business reviews. Additionally, they will analyse competitive intelligence, market trends, and drive business through e-commerce portal.
The Account Manager for Global Field Devices within Building Management Solutions (BMS) plays a pivotal role in driving sales and fostering relationships with clients across various sectors markets. Responsible for managing our portfolio of global field devices, this position requires a strategic approach to account management, sales strategy development, and execution of comprehensive solutions to meet customer needs.
1. **Sales Strategy Development:**
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote global field devices within the BMS portfolio.
- Identify opportunities for growth and leverage market data to enhance service delivery.
2. **Client Relationship Management:**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client needs and expectations are met.
3. **Product Knowledge Expertise:**
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of the company's global field devices and associated technologies.
- Provide technical support and product training to clients, highlighting the advantages and applications of each product in building management.
4. **Sales Forecasting and Reporting:**
- Prepare sales forecasts and reports analysing accounts and sales performance.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify threats and opportunities.
5. **Collaborative Goals Achievement:**
- Work closely with engineering, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure alignment in achieving sales objectives.
- Collaborate on the development of proposals and presentations to potential clients.
6. **Market Intelligence:**
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market segments.
- Gather and analyse customer feedback to refine product offerings and sales strategies.
7. **Contract Negotiation:**
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable sales that adhere to company policies.
- Ensure compliance with company agreements and client specifications.
8. **Technical Support and Troubleshooting:**
- Provide troubleshooting support and solution-oriented guidance to clients dealing with product issues.
- Coordinate with technical teams for product installations and upgrades where applicable.
- **Education:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
- **Experience:**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales within the building management or related technology sectors.
- Experience with global field devices and automation systems is highly desirable.
- **Skills:**
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster client relationships and teamwork.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends to support business decisions.
- Proven ability to develop strategic sales plans and execute them effectively.
- Technical knowledge of building management systems, controls, sensors, and field devices.
- **Certifications:**
- Relevant certifications in sales, project management, or technical fields may be beneficial.
