Procurement Buyer II

As a Buyer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and executing the organization's procurement and purchasing activities at a fulfillment level. This position plays a pivotal part in ensuring efficient procurement processes, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment within the procurement function. You will oversee complex supply chain situations related to our CMOC organization, work within a team of planning and procurement professionals, and collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve procurement objectives.

You will report directly to the CMOC Senior Procurement Manager and you will work out of our Mississauga location in Toronto Canada. In this role, you are essential in optimizing procurement practices, enhancing profitability, and securing a reliable and agile supply chain, making your expertise an indispensable asset to our organization's success.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Create, modify, and manage purchase orders in SAP including tariff related lines and special handling instructions.

+ Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, expedite deliveries, and resolve discrepancies. This includes managing PO acknowledgments and delivery confirmations.

+ Foster and maintain deep relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure a reliable and responsive supply chain, addressing concerns and resolving issues.

+ Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to relevant regulations, compliance standards, and internal policies, maintaining accurate and organized records.

+ Align to the procurement budget and seek cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.

+ Leverage technology solutions, such as procurement software and analytics, to enhance procurement processes, monitoring, and reporting.

**YOU MUST HAVE**

+ Minimum 1-3 years of experience in integrated supply chain activities and project management.

+ Minimum 1-3 years of experience with procurement strategies and supplier relationship management.
