**Manager, Distribution - BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy**

**Location:** AZ-CHANDLER, 145 S 79TH ST, STE 70

**Onsite:** This role requires associates to work from the posted locations full-time, enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. This policy promotes an environment built on in-person interaction, communication, and immediate support.

**Schedule:** Monday-Friday; rotating 8-hour shift between 7:00am-7:00pm

The **Manager, Distribution** is responsible for the overall performance and continuity of the receiving and distribution department, including managing and procuring shipping equipment and supplies, supervising the workflow of warehouse shipping personnel, and directly overseeing daily shipping volumes.

**How you will make an impact:**

+ Oversees and directs the daily warehouse operations, which includes shipping processes, adjustments for volume, scheduling, and ordering of shipping and packing supplies.

+ Trains, supervises, and provides feedback to warehouse staff in all packaging, shipping, and tracking of shipments.

+ Documents all incoming and outgoing product, equipment, and supplies.

+ Manages all supply and equipment inventory with consistent achievement of established inventory turn goals.

+ Verifies appropriate processes exist and are followed by warehouse staff.

+ Oversees overall cleanliness of the warehouse, equipment, packing and shipping areas.

+ Maintains accurate record keeping of warehouse temperature and quality control testing for the shipping scale.

+ Oversees hazardous waste control including secure management of the area, scheduling pick-up for disposal and keeping current manifests.

+ Adheres to all OSHA regulations.

+ Responsible for knowing and complying with all applicable company policies and procedures.

+ Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Requires an AA/AS degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control, equipment management, and delivery coordination, including a minimum of 1 year of experience in a lead/supervisory role (may be offset with 2 additional years of related experience); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

+ Requires the ability to lift or move objects up to 40 pounds. Licensed Pharmacy Technician preferred.

**Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:**

+ Three or more years of supervisory experience.

+ Warehouse packing experience.

+ Process improvement experience.

+ Working knowledge of drug terminology, pharmaceutical product evaluation, and pharmacy and OSHA regulations.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work cooperatively and organizational skills.
